Midland Community Former Offenders Advocacy and Rehabilitation (MCFOAR) has a mission to reduce the crime rate of former offenders in the Midland County area and make the community a safer place. We help ex-offenders upon release and provide them with necessary tools to aid in their transition back into society. This program is available to all former offenders who reside in the Midland County area. We aid in areas of housing, food assistance, medical and mental health referral, employment readiness, clothing, addiction issues and mentoring services.

MCFOAR met with the Trust Council at Trinity Lutheran Church on the evening of April 29, 2024 regarding a request for funding. The first request was for assisting clients with the cost of Substance Use Disorder testing, counseling, assessments and evaluationas at J&A Services. The second request was for our clients’ children’s new bed program.

On May 1st I was contacted that the request was approved by the Trust Council and that a check for $10,000 would be available for pick up at the Church on May 2nd.

We are so appreciative of Trinity Lutheran Church and its wonderful support since the inception of MCFOAR in January of 2013! We especially want to thank the Church and the Trust Council for this amazing donation to the clents of MCFOAR! What a Blessing!

Midland Community Former Offenders Advocacy and Rehabilitation (MCFOAR) is happy to announce that it was selected for a donation by the Midland 100 Club on Jan. 9.

According to MCFOAR Executive Director Rob Worsley, this generous gift will greatly impact the nonprofit’s ability to continue to meet the needs of its clients and their families in the Midland community. The 100 Club also supported MCFOAR in 2016.

“We are forever grateful to the Club and its members,” Worsley said.
